Challenge: Abstract Macro III (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Nikon D700
Lens: Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D
Location: Milton Keynes
Date: Aug 23, 2009
Aperture: f/29
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/250
Galleries: Abstract, Macro
Date Uploaded: Aug 23, 2009

Took a macro of a class paperweight from above in my light tent.

Crop, noise, contrast, brightness, sharpen, noise, border save for web.

I still didn't like the finished shot so decided at add a radial blur at 5 degrees to the whole image then used a layer mask to not let the blur affect the very center of the shot. Having read the rules a few times and discussed this with a few members I believe this is legal. The border is still distinct as a border and I don't believe I have introduced ant new items with the effect. I hope this is legal. Not much time before deadline closes so will submit this to Site council also

The interior border really doesn't do much for me, the movement is intresting but in the end kinda distracting as well. Althought the center is nice and sharp, the attention is drawn away by everything else. 5

your border is quite interesting...I like how the center of the picture is in sharp focus fading to the edges...well done

border is way overdone, otherwise interesting effect of blur - lensbaby?
