Made a patterned background of the ribbons from Judi's template ( THANKS, [user]judi[/user] !) Displayed the background on my computer screen placed the glass on a pile of books in front of it. Shot with camera on tripod using the camera timer.

2 crops.
Spot edit dust.
Adjust Sharpness.
Remove Color Cast.
Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation.
Resize.
USM.

Good shot of a topic that has been covered before. The only critique I have is that the ribbon portion looks busy... may have been better with only a single ribbon.
very nice! i loce the ribbons in the glass i just feel the ones that are visable on the sides are a bit distrating, very kool glass im loving the bends and curves in it, i also would have left a lil bit more at the top so tht the top of the ribbons weren'y cut off, great job tho im sure this will do well in this challenge,
