 As I said, the weather was really moving in. Our campsite is almost at the end of this valley, and up the ridge a bit on the left. The lakes are around this bend and then up the end of the valley/ridge. As we were hiking out I saw this and couldn't miss a photo op. The clouds were too awesome to miss, so I did a quick bracket to try an HDR, no tripod.

OMG OMG .. !!!
this is amazing .. what a fantastic place to visit AND take photographs ..
man this would go so well in a challenge ... but having said that i often get it wrong so dont listen .. but i love this scene .. the beautiful vibrant greenery and then that sky .. so dramatic and beautiful .. !!
