 One of several variations on this image (see below)

... made selection to simulate ray of light coming through off-camera opening, selection for an oval vignette. and then applied various RGB Curves and Channel Mixer to partially desaturate.

I'm drawn to this version- I feel it enhances the emotion of the poem perfectly.

such an entirely different feel to your unprocessed version .. to me this process seems so much sadder in a way .. makes me think of death .. :)
