 For the first half of the evening, the rain stopped and other than being a bit chilly, it was quite pleasant. By the time the second half was about to begin, though, the skies opened and it began to rain quite steadily, and with gusto. I ended up leaving early and missing the fireworks at the end, unfortunately.

Snapped one-handed while holding my umbrella.

And yep, statues. I just realized I don't have any shots of this place - I'll have to go back and take snapshots during the day! :-)

VERRRRRRY slick Deb! great lighting..look at those shadows..and the "chaos" of it all with the storm, the lighting differentials and those umbrellas moving...a great scene!

WOAH - that's almost like a painting. I love it!! Doesn't look that snapshot-like to me. It has an artistic flare.

This is cool. Love the dark tone and mood. Are those statues at the top of the blue and purple round in the background?

This is definitely a life grab shot! The umbrellas and the lighted BG building with the otherwise darkness is great.

I like this for the darkness, the umbrella shapes silhouetted in the glow of the building. It's a moody shot.
