| Without the title, this is just someone posing for a candid shapshot. If the figure in the background were better lit, the meaning would be more clear. |

| I like the idea. But, the on-camera flash is unnatural, harsh and unflattering to the woman, and the BBQ in the background and the man are just too dark. With proper lighting and exposure, this would be a nice picture. |

| This seems (to me) to be just a snapshot with not much thought in it. The lady has red-eye reflection (generally caused by oncamera flash). There are some kind of flare or hanging lights behind the mans head (distracting and difficult to focus on). and the general lighting is poor (flash falloff). Without the title, you wouldn't really know it was "Waiting" - more like "upset" or "bored". |

| Out of focus subject and bad use of flash renders this quite painful to view! Lighting and focus are key elements to a good shot. Your composition is actually quite good. |

| not very sharp, not well exposed -the backgrond is too dark and her face is blown out in a few paces - flash i assume. her arms are not in focus. |
