 This is actually a photo of bullrush (cattail) leaves, not really a garden plant. I just liked the line from poem I found online. (poem by Patricia Elizabeth Garner)

I was out shooting and noticed a nice backlight...so here it is. :) Interestingly enough this shot is the first in a long time that is not cropped at all. Just some exposure adjustment in PS, a tiny bit of topaz to help bring out the viens (but not enough to make it obvious), an overlay layer to make the background a bit more blueish and that is it.

Even though I really like this because of it's simplicity, I am sure it is much to boring for success here on DPC. However it is not always about getting high votes...this one is for me!
