LOL, I guess there are a lot of us backyard birders out there. Don't mind at all that you associated the shot with vawendy's excellent ribbon winner, although I took it before ever seeing her shot.

Oops. Usually when I geuss, I'm wrong, but you must admit, it looks like a shot from the same session as vawendy's ribbon winner in life & death.

I might have titled this "Lunch", but hey. :>) There's not a lot to say here - it's a good solid image, excellant color control, solid DOF - very different image that is not a normal "fauna" capture. On the other hand, it's a bird eating meal worms - what can you say? :>) Nicely done - a good solid entry into the challenge.

Looking a teensy bit dark, but that may be my monitor. Lovely catchlight in his eye.
