Thanks to Myles for his cooperation.

I have some slight blur and overexposure and his head partway out of the fram to show pending movement. To me, it seems the anxiety of sprinting is captured by these elements.

Expected score - 4.8xxx

fits the challenge well but the overall brightness is to high, see how the back of his shirt loses definition where it blends into the background, and the crop on the right idetracts

Great expression, and the pose reflects the tension of waiting for the starter's signal. Nice shot.

Good idea, maybe if the perspective had been a little lower, level with the runner, it would be a better picture.

You can feel the tension. It's a very good portrait - especially considereong the "high noon" lighting. (You'd bevery please by the feeling of the eaxct same setup taken with late afternoon or early morning light.) The model's face is a bit close on the right side.

Nice angle! It might be cropped a little too close to his forehead- it doesn't give him anywhere to run to.

Some of your higlights are blown, and I wish there was just a little space in front of his head. Otherwise, you have a good "action to come" shot. The intense focus on his face is great.
