 She's 85 years old and she's the coolest grandma I've met while photographing so far. We had a very pleasant conversation and when I asked her about where she finds the motivation she gave me a strange advice I'll remember: "Never let yourself be in a situation of the drowning people, that with no escape left you must struggle to hold onto the water foam."

This is excellant.

The composition and title work perfectly together here with the focal point being on the lady standing in a doorway, a portal if you will, like a guardian, while everything apart from her and the door behind are out of focus, almost unimportant compared to the scene immediately before you. It's almost as if you are being challenged by the stare.

I have to dissapoint you but she's not looking at the camera at all, she's looking sligtly above the camera and to the left ;-) I intentionally chose this one over the similar shot I had with her looking directly at me, as this one has more eternal mood.

Great on how you've captured her looking right at the camera. She is a great character study, looks like she has stories to tell. The LB is perfect on making her the absolute focal point of the image.

That's some profound wisdom! And I know how you feel about challenges. This is great. I never considered the effect that the Lensbaby has on portraits. Works very well here.
