Great idea, but the compression and noise is very extreme and that's very distracting. Also, the lighting seems a bit off.

The top of the ball appears to be over exposed. I like the overall tone that you have captured in this shot.

Humm the focus is lost here-maybe your software could be improved for size. The shot looks blurry and the colors are pretty bland.

A lower point of view might help to emphasize the ball more. The root in the background is of such a similar tone and magnitude it competes in the current composition.

Simple and powerful photo. I like it. Lighting is harsh, but probably in a good way for this kind of photo.
