 This is a beach (shaped like a crescent, of course) on the island of Orcas. One of the San Juan Islands off the coast of the state of Washington. They farm oysters in the waters off the beach. The posts you see sticking up out of the water are part of that operation. Taken in June of 2007

here in Brazil we have oyester farms in the south (Santa Catarina state)and the beachs are very similar this one.
