Light pole at a hockey field. I will probably get comments that it is too dark, but it is definately intentional.

Nice shot on this one, wish it had just a little something more to it though. Not sure what, I just feel like its missing something. Good job though...

Love the perspective here and the geometric feel of the image. The grey of the pole and the blue of the sky are very complimentary. Normally it is said to avoid center compositions but I dont know if this would look any better in a different position. It has a very futuristic feel to it. Nicely captured!

Good angle and detail. I think the photo would have been better if the sky was more dramatic as shapes and detail are lost in high-altitude cirrus clouds like the ones shown here.

So simple and effective. Things that work especially well for me: the balance of light and dark - dark side of pole across from light cloudy sky, light side of pole across from dark sky - simple shapes, lines and color ranges. This is one of my top choices.
