My first shot at water droplets. Set up in my kitchen. Harder than it looked to get a clear image in the droplet. I did not use a flash, that might have helped.

Greetings from Andi via the Critique Club. Congratulations on a new PB Robin!

First Impression: A nice, soft and vibrant image image, sharp enough where it should be and an above average flower reflection.

Composition: For me the composition is just right.

Tecnical: At first glance the blown out petal was a little annoying but on reflection I think it actually helps the image. The green foliage is a little distracting and it might improve the image if it was in better focus.

Artistic: Yes, its certainly artistic and the colours go really well together. The way the petals merge into that silky soft backround shows a good vision.

Overall thoughts: Even though similar has been done 100's of times at dpc it was submitted to a flower challenge and this is a good example. Well done and all the best for future challenges.

I LOVE this! I'm so surprised not to see this one way way up there. Its the kind of photo I would have put in the top very few -- and one that really appeals to my style. Awesome job!

I'm not generally a fan of the water drop shots (been done to death... so cliche) but you've executed it so perfectly that I had to rate this up there with my favourites in this challenge. Composition is different enough to carry the water drop cliche... which is an outstanding effort. Well done.

Lovely burst of yellow with good diagonal lines.

I've seen this before. And the one I've seen before was much more interesting than this one.

This would make an excellent print, I can see it hanging on a wall to light up a dark corner. Well done.

Great droplets. The green leafy part is a bit distracting but nice colours throughout.
