absolutely lovely light - and flower pictures that really grab me are all about the light - really nice vision to see this and deliver it

I recall this one from voting very clearly - it is so delightfully fresh, so upbeat, so full-of-promise morning new, if that makes sense. You captured the light brilliantly (pun intended!) and the supporting bokeh is perfect. Beautifully done!

Very nice but a bit washed out. Maybe would score higher for me if shot was taken under different lighting.

This makes me feel happy!!! Lovely use of shallow DOF and the water on the petals is lovely. Great color and composition. There is a bit of blown out yellow on the flower's center. 8.
