 Cool rocks at the top of Buffalo Pass near Steamboat Springs, taken just after mid day so the light was harsh but the sky somewhat made up for the poor lighting. Full size version has so much more detail in the rocks, all of the rocks had several layers and colors which made me think of geology. Not likely to score well but we had a great time taking the shot.

I agree the full size photo has plenty of detail in the rocks but to get it under the size limit I had to take it down below 55% so a lot of detail was lost.

I am enjoying the blue tones to this photo, but with each glance I feel the need for just a little more of the earth and a little less sky. Overall, nice landscape.

This scene reminds me of northern ontario.... looks like the Canadian shield. Nice photo.
