I really like the small dof that I can get with the 10x zoom of the powershot s1 is.

Cool smoke and nice DOF. The burning areas look dull for some reason, like the red channel was desaturated. The composition is kind of scattered with no obvious focal point- if the sticks were on a diagonal, it might form a nice path for your eye to follow.

You've taken something very "un photogenic" and proved that straight ugly sticks can be made into a wonderful image. Great use of the smoke and green background to make it happen.

I like the way you have used the light to highlight the smoke from the sticks..combined with the shallow dof, it gives the image impact.

I don't like the smell of these incenses, but I do like the colors and the smoke you've captured. Nice..good light on the background.

Would have more impact with either more saturated color (maybe selectively boosting the red ember) or in B&W

It looks like the smoke created a 3 behind the middle stick of incense. Very cool.

Interesting shot - the smoke tendrils are evocative.

Nice smoke! The background is more interesting than the incense sticks themselves, so I wonder if this shot would look better with more light on the sticks. Regardless, I like this shot a lot just as it is.

I like the shallow depth of field. Works really well here.

Interesting, almost abstract. Not quite crisp enough for that "wow" factor. But very appealing.
