Another view on food. Shrimps before going to be grilled. Hope it looks not so tasty. Dinner was delicious btw!

I'm not sure if it's been done before, but such a shallow depth of field is hard to tell exactly what it is that I'm seeing. I think it would have been much more interesting with a larger dof, imho.

what is that?

I suspect this is some sort of critter on a plate, but I can't really tell what I'm seeing. I think color might have served this better, and perhaps a deeper DOF, or at least focus on the second or this thingy rather than the one in the foreground.

Could have used some help with "what is it?"

I like the focus (although I'm not sure what I'm looking at) but I feel like it could have been composed in a different way to make it a stronger image

I don't care for the focus on this one. I wonder what this would have looked like in color. Not a fan of the black and white. I do like the detail of whatever it is I am looking at though, that is in focus.

Yuck! LOL! What are those snails on? I can't figure this out. so i see who's online, ask them if they want to work? And then they come straight here to work? Or i hire them in the marketplace?

Ugly little critters! Good dof and the lighting seems spot on in the foreground. As a unique image it doesn't really appeal to me (and I'm not hungry anymore).

This might have been more effective with a different perspective or crop. Nice lighting and processing, though.

I think that the DOF is too shallow. I would prefer to put the plate line right on the bottom left corner.

I have no idea what that is, but it looks disgusting. Some kind of seafood, perhaps? It's still a good photo, though. :)
