 I searched and did not find a photo like this on DPC.

Teapot placed on a mirror, one studio flash aimed at the wall behind the teapot. I blew bubbles at the teapot while hitting the remote shutter. Cleaned up a few spots in PSP, changed the colour.

Thanks for the votes and comments, thrilled with the placement.
Oh, and I agree with vawendy's comment about the reflection of the teapot. After I entered it I thought it would be better without it but it took so many shots to get one where the bubbles were in the right place that I didn't have the patience to do it again.

Wow, after 2 1/2 days I have a ribbon because former 3rd place was DQ'ed. I feel bad for the other photographer but I now have 2 ribbon winning photos on the front page. Something that I doubt will ever happen again!

Very nice shot! I like it a lot--so far it's the best (though I loved the trolls... :)

Can't help but nitpick, though. I would have liked it much better without the shadow of the teapot. (some sort of non-reflective surface, instead), the shadow detracts, imo. - 8

a silhouette on a reflective colorful surface...seen that A LOT on here. But is this superbly done? Absolutely. And I love the idea, it reminds me of a genie in a bottle blowing bubbles :)
