My son Max with a Teddy bear, behind a curtain looking out.

Shot with a Lensbaby Composer. I'm not sure this Is unique and thus might be seen as DNMC; but it meets my criterion of being the sort of image I wouldn't be optimistic about in most challenges and probably wouldn't be brave enough to enter - too technically ambiguous to do well. Personally, I like the mood it captures.

Love the tone, the blur, the light. Pretty intense. Gave it a 9.

thought it might be incredibly unique, however, there was a cat behind the curtain. . That being said, the subject matter is very different, I like the teddy bear and the backlighting. I also like the way it blurs out to the right. This is very well done, and very evocative. 8

Not sure if this has never been seen before or not, but I find it original and I like it a lot. Strikes me as one of those things where you were just standing there and realized how cool this looked through the curtains, so you grabbed your camera.

That's a beautiful photo...I love being able to see the person almost sharp, and the texture of the curtain.

I do have a soft spot (sorry) for the LB and think you have used it well here, I can view this and think of several 'stories' behind the image. I'm not overly fond of descriptive titles but this works well, good luck with this.

this is a tough one for me...I have come back several times...I personally don't like the curtain and children have been shot in windows all over the place...that is what I am struggling with I think...sorry

I dont think that this meets the challenge, but this is a nice picture. I see a very interesting movement on the curtain, and im wondering what made this...

hah...I had a shot like this myself...except there's a page of em. (Try searching for screen).

I like the shot though. (btw I am just commenting on this challenge and not voting). This looks like it was shot with a lens baby. I like the softness of the shot as it really supports the mood I think you were trying to capture.
