 Spotted at a body shop I pass on the way home from work. There is no bed in this truck right now and I got some other interesting shots looking up through the missing truck bed.

I also want to call out Jutilda who left a wonderful poem on another shot from this session (One I almost used for this challenge) that I posted on Flickr:

Pre-challenge notes:
I may get creamed for this being a pickup truck instead of a car, but it is clearly a passenger vehicle, so I feel it fits the spirit of the challenge. Hopefully the shot is strong enough to overcome the DNMC crowd.

Anticipated Critiques:
-Distracting elements of the buildings and the other car peeking out. (Hoping the white border helps pull the eye away from those)
-Overhead lines (Can't do anything about it in basic editing)
-Slight purple fringe on the clouds
-Slight banding in the clouds
-It's a truck, not a car and the challenge is old CARS.
-Oversaturated.

That should be enough potential flaws to at least get a couple of hits in my game of "DPC Bingo".

Post-challenge notes:
Did pretty well for me, though I had hopes of a solid 6 for a while. Also survived my first in-challenge validation. No doubt someone thought I may have used some basic-illegal tone mapping or Topaz.

looks good but i thought this was a basic editing challenge.. this seems like a grunge effect was put into it and from what i can remember that kind of effect isn't basic editing.. i could be wrong.. but i do like the shot.
