An old racemare by the name of Delvista, pausing in the entranceway to her run-in shed. Luckily her companion, Fabulous Bella, is nowhere in sight or she'd have ruined the comp! I like the slightly awkward stance in her forelegs, complements the wonky angle of the entranceway to what was actually once an old house. Settlers were given Crown land but had to erect a house no less than 18x24 feet within the year to prove that they meant to settle permanently, so there are many of these houses now serving as outbuildings.

Excellent work with the exposure on this in my opinion, and I really like the curious pose of the horse. My only nit would be it seems to be a bit oversharpened - probably the sharpen edges thing. (Then again, I'm not an oversharp kinda person.)

This to me is really just a snapshot of a horse. Most of the frame, including the horse itself is too dark to make out properly and the well exposed outside part doesn't really hold any interest.

if you had lengthened your exposure you would have been able to see the detail of the horse a whole lot better

Sweet looking horse, I love the inquisitive body language
