| Great shot! Did she put on her wounded bird act for you? They're supposed to be very good at that when protecting a nest. |

So this is a Killdeer.. There was one that nested right in the middle of the playground at school can u imagine the noise at recess. They did rope off near her nest..
I didn't get over to see it unfortunately..

| WOW! the detail on this picture is great. That's an interesting bird, I love the colors on his body and the white and black stripes around his neck, so beautiful. (Everytime that I see a bird picture from you, I can help but thinking about you image stabilizer picture, LOL) |
