 These young ladies use a very common form of transportation among the Amish. Just push and roll.

Nifty combination of a scooter and a bike. The young children here in Germany learn to ride bikes with something sorta similar. A very small bike with a seat, wheels, handlebars, but no pedals - they push it along. Teaches them balance and steering. No such thing as training wheels here that I've seen.

i've never seen a bike that doesnt have pedals .. !! .. great shot . :)
