Today it's been ten years since the bombing ended. Serbia was bombed by U.S. and NATO forces from 23. March 1999. - 10. June 1999. in the, so called, Operation Noble Anvil.

- 2.000 civilians dead
- 1.000 soldiers dead
- 6.000 people injured

Powerful statement. The wide angle adds so much impact -- even makes it ominous at some level. My grandfather lived in Belgrade becoming emigrating to America. I'd love to go there some time. I'll look you up!

Indeed, nice angle and I like the way the car balances the woman and the light echoing her. Very sad indeed. Non military structures targeted vastly outnumbered military ones in the bombings.

A wonderful capture of a sad reality. The angles in this shot are great - the element of the woman, car, lamp post and building work nicely together with the wide angle view.

i'm sorry but i dont know much about serbia and the bombing you talk about ..
seeing that the destruction is still obvious would be a constant reminder of those days ..

love your acid feel processing and the wide angle .. its an excellent shot and statement especially with the woman with her arms crossed waiting at the lights .. dont know why her body language seems so fitting with your story, but it does .. :)
