At lunch I bought two brand new lenses. This one, the 10-22, I have high hopes for. Unfortunately we were preparing for lots of rain. So, I opened up the bathroom window and concentrated on shooting our backyard out the window.

You have a very pretty yard. The shot is very clear from fg to bg.

its a great shot from your bathroom window . !!! .. looks like you live in a parkland .. :)
i wondered wot the other lens was that you bought jeanne .. couldnt have got a better pair i reckon .. i love my 10-22 ... the wide angle distortion is brilliant at 10mm ..
why did you get the 70-200 when you already had a 70-300 .??. i'm not being rude .. i dont know a lot about those sort'v lenses and i'm wondering wot the pros and cons of both would be and wot sort of photography you'll be doing with the 70-200 that you wouldnt be able to do with the 70-300 ..
we went to the camera shop on monday and i tried a 15mm fisheye .. beautiful lens and i love the distortion, but i couldnt justify that sort'v expense for something so specialised right now ..
when we were there i was looking at the 70-200 in the glass case and thinking if i ever get another lens that would be the way i'd go .. the photographs i've seen with the 70-200 brilliant .. :)

Those are the same roses I have! I did a yard shot last night just before the deluge - I'll post it later. You're gonna love that lens!
