It's really a great capture. And another insight for me. I had never heard the name 'Maccas" used for McDonalds before this picutre. |

Looks to me like St. Louis meets McDonalds. The B&W adds a nostalgic look to the photo. |

Excellent processing! This looks wonderful in B&W!! Some strange mix between vintage 50's and futuristic...I love this. I hate to admit it, but we're having McD's tonight for dinner (only happens about once a month but even that is too often ;~) |

LOVE the B&W - very cool!
And for the record - I'm with you, my kids didn't even know what McDonalds was until my eldest was 6 and it's still VERY much treat food - not bad - in MODERATION! |

I like the black and white, and the approaching customer gives it life. I must admit to enjoying the odd visit to Maccas, which didn't exist in my youth. Our own kids would have been in the once now and then treat category. My grandkids go often. |

Really nice b/w conversion. Nicely composed and cropped, too. |

I know! My cousins get fast food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and for me even ten years ago that would've been like a treat rather than a daily routine.. Our "yellow arches" used to be so bland when it started that they had to spice it up like crazy because the locals couldn't digest that... I think they're very creative when it comes to adapting
And I see one lone person there.. The black ensemble makes them look rather mysterious.. |

Wonderful tones and contrast. As someone else said this lends itself well to a b&w conversion. I find it interesting that though there is but one arch on the building my mind sees two. |

The lighting here is lovely and lends it's self very well indeed to B&W. I imagine this place to be popular with those westerners who travel around the world and then decide not to eat local food, I don't see the point myself but hey each to their own eh |

Great tones in this and I like the way the light just picks up the road markings - nice balance to the architectural arches. And I think the cinnamon things might be worth a try. :-) |
