 Snow finally brought one of her kittens to my house today! For those who don't know, Snow is the one stray cat in the neighborhood that I haven't been able to catch and get fixed. She's pretty wild and hates me, but she knows to come here when she has kittens. She showed up in the beginning of April and I could tell she was just about to have her litter. She's been coming by every other day or so for food and cat milk all that time. Then for the past week she's been around several times a day expecting food and treats and cat milk, which of course I dole out to her...I know she was keeping her kittens in my neighbor's yard somewhere, but I hadn't seen them. Until today :-) When I went to go shopping there was Snow under my car with one little black kitten. The kitten immediately jumped up into my wheel well to hide. I brought them out some milk and got a couple of lousy pictures (I had to stay far away and they were in the dark under the car). Needless to say I did not take my car to the store, I took the truck so I wouldn't disturb the baby :-) So, I expect I'll be seeing more of the kitten, or kittens, as the case may be. Stay tuned!

They look a lot alike. We have 3 here now that are about ready to be out and moving around. We get glimpses of them, but she is not parading them around yet.
Nice job of getting the contrast to bring out the fur against the dark BG.

Great story! I hope you can finally capture her and have her neutered. I don't know what would be your plan. To capture mom or one of the kittens first to get Snow to come around??

oh colleen .. you're such a wonderful soul ..
i'm trying to think of a lovely name for you .. but the cat woman just doesnt do it .. lol lol LOL ..!!..:)
its a brilliant shot and i read your story all the way thru ..
i didnt realise that you caught them and had them neutered ..
i think of all the stray animals that have hideous lives .. starving and hated .. and then of course that they kill all the native animals as well .. its a great thing you do .. :)xx
