There's a funny, sweet detail on this - unfortunately, it's hard to tell from the pic, but the kids' shoestrings are loose :)

The B&W part of this is very well done, as you always do. What it brings to mind, to me, is the passage of time. Huh, you say? That lit slat in the alley is the seer - it sees all. It has seen young men go by then turn to old men. This particular pair is trying to both at the same time. And yet they're holding hands. Very sweet, very sage.

This is simple and sweet. One of the best images posted so far. Cheers.

I've looked at this quite a bit this evening. The connection of the brothers/friends is quite clear, but the left 2/3 of the frame provide a unique weight to the image. It's probably due to my current place in life with young kids running around the house, as I see parents standing erect over them. Hovering. Yet the youngest is free, the oldest mirroring the vertical lines, trying to grow up, but still in the shadow of youth. That's what I got from this photograph.

Super. One of those moments that should be captured on "film".

Wonderful. The best I've seen so far. Keep smiling young men. Too often the other businessmen I see appear depressed. These youngsters remind me of the executives I have to give a presentation to next week. They look younger every day.

Normally I would have preferred the two walking into the frame, but this works too, as to say "end of another day at the office."

There is an excellent feel to this. I love the contrast and the vertical emphasis (I think the older boy is trying to get the younger to stand up straighter so he will "fit in" with the rest of the photo).

Ooo I like this one, the angles and lines are all slightly askew and it pulls me into the photo. In particular it's the sharp contrast with the bright background and then the crisp black shoe that's got the heel off the ground that really makes me look. The light there is beautiful.

I also like how they're walking out of the photo, all the vertical lines and repetition in the building help shape the mood of the photo.

I really like this one. Good editing too getting the bw looking right and deep enough without loosing important detail

The older boy is playing his role well but the younger one can't help being young. Nice slice of life.

Now that's just excellent. I love the background and how their figures play against it. Great emotion too. Terrific.
