Hey, Lisa! I haven't been around much, but I recently got re-energized at this workshop in Savannah, Georgia. (: (: (: I just love everything about this image...had to fave it.
Oh, Lisa. ..I just love your take on the world. You "see" it so playfully and simply, like from an era long ago. The texture here works beautifully to add that "era long ago" effect. I love it!
lisa .. this is brilliant ... i was looking at our thread at the thumbs to see which ones jumped out at me .. this one totally did .. i love your excellent visual take on life .. this is such a wow on so many levels .. WOW .. !!..:)
It's so interesting because my sister did an expose on her photo a day for her South Pasadena California blog, and she too spoke of shadows and how her photography teacher in high school said if you are bored with a subject, just look at its shadow. This is really fascinating and if you move the screen so that is all you can see, it's actually nothing like what you see above that is the "real" subject. Wonderful, Lisa.
I really like this although I think i would like it better with the climbing frame cropped out. (the metal part that is not the shadow)
I reminds me of something but I can't quite figure out what just yet... I'll come back
