I thought about doing this theme, but couldn't think of a good photo. It definitely meets the challenge, but as a photo on its own ... I don't think it'd do well on photosig. That's my big complaint about some of these challenge. They just aren't good opportunities to take nice photos *sigh* Other than the topic (which can't be helped when they give us such bad ones), focus is a tad soft maybe. ~indi |

I can see where some people wont like this, but to me, it portrays a urban legend very well. the angle and framing/cropping are nice. Focus is well, and the lighting is just fine. Overall a nice job. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~ |

a marriage to disease - interesting way of thinking about it. Don't want to be married eh? Good concep, but the photo is way to dark, try to underexpose it in Photoshop |

This is not funny. I've lost loved ones to this. I pray this doesn't strike your family. Looks like you accomplished pretty much what you set out to when you started. Don't really understand why this message in a ring box. Good focus with a mystical lighting overall. Needs a little more light. Don't see the legend or superstition. Emotion wise I'd like to give a 1, meeting challenge also is a 1 as far as I'm concerned, picture wise though it is about a 6, which gives it a final 4 |

More light might have helped this shot. |

OK. Is this an urban legend? I find the picture a bit too dark. Maybe more top lighting. 6 Jacko. |

I think this shot would be much stronger if the sharp focus was on the written message rather than the ring box. The 'message' here is you subject... - setzler |

Good layout of scene. Lighting might have worked better if focused on the note and not the ring case, as the light reflecting of the black felt is distracting. Focus is a little blurry too. |

Could this have been more effective with the hands of a woman, being a little more consistent with the title? Good image though - Inspzil |
