 I made a hole in the black background, so that I can insert a metal pin and tie the incense stick to it. I placed it close to the tulip to make it appear as if the smoke comes out of the tulip.

I lit the whole setup using my SB800 from backside. For front lighting I placed a white foam board for reflection.

While I upload the image, I still debate within whether this meets the challenge completely. I think, I will wait for the votes.

Thanks for the votes and comments... It's my birthday today and getting a ribbon on birthday is quite exciting. :)

Beautiful Image, Sorry about the DQ, Thanks for sharing your set up on is as well. I try to post a Flower on Facebook every sunday just to keep my name fresh on my clients mind. I think you have a real winner with this image. Keep up the awesome and creative work.

Sometimes, an image is just so perfect that it defies description. This is one of them. While this reviewer is not totally convinced of the author's intent, it is certainly unusual and as such meets the challenge criteria. This is simply beautiful. Well done.
