 My poor baby Timone, Saturday morning he showed up with a mangled paw. I took him to the vet who said he'd have to spend the weekend there sedated, then have surgery Monday morning. I hated having to leave him there all alone, he really is pretty shy and hates being inside. Anyway, he had his surgery yesterday and all went well, they had to remove a toe then stitch him back together. He will get his stitches out in a week. Meanwhile, I need to keep him inside, which is pretty tough! I had to sleep with him on the couch last night to keep him pacified (yes, I'm pathetic!). He has pretty much been howling to go out for the last three hours, but has finally worn himself out and is napping. This is going to be a loooooonngg week...

He is SLEEPING!

What a perfect window for kitties! The color tones of the photo are excellent. It's almost like you planned all the baby blue carrying through the photo.

If one wants to get deep and attach meaning to the blue, you have the blue bandage which is keeping him from where he wants to be out in the blue skies, but while he's stuck inside there's the comfort of the blue pillow that is quite obviously placed there by someone with a lot of love to give. Purrr...

Awwww, Colleen.. you poor thing and poor little Timone! You are a wonderful mommy for spending the night on the couch to keep him pacified. What on earth did he get into that his paw got so mangled? It sounds like he had an encounter with another animal, they do tend to bite the feet/toes in cat fights. At least he'll heal up and be better save for a missing toe.

Oh, poor kitty-cat and poor you. I hope he recovers well - and quickly! He has an elegant look in spite of the bandaged leg.
