Taken at a "train graveyard". Piles of old track, spikes, and of course trains all over the place.

Taken from RAW, adjusted contrast and brightness. Converted to B&W. Sharpened. Added border.

Very interesting shot, wonderful use of focus to bring out your subject, I think this is unique and technically excellent.

I think a slightly deeper DOF would make this great concept a bit more effective.

lol it does look like a pile of rusty bones in the foreground, doesn't it? 7

A great concept and very nicely executed. Unfortunately, the sky also hurts this image in a similar fashion to an earlier entry. It would have been vastly improved by bringing out the details in the sky to balance the image more effectively. Again, an image that could have gone horribly wrong, it's almost at the break point between being brilliant and merely above average. A little more use of the zone system would have improved this tremendously. As it is, a very worthy entry into the challenge with top twenty potential.

It's a nice shot, but with the brightness of the photo you've lost some of the details in the clouds, adjusting the exposure. JMO

I think your foreground nails are really distracting. It consumes 1/3 space of your photo.
