This is a 1928 Passenger Car that was converted to a Snack Car in 1948. Made completely of wood, it was deemed unsafe years later and retired.

I really loved the feel of this picture, it reminded me of the movie Titanic when the camera panned through the shipwreck and it came back to life. I can see this coming back to life in the 1920's.

pp: curves, resize, border and save.

Hoping for a personal best.

The subject and the shot are both a little bland imho. It seems like a photo of something that is for sale, more functional than aritistic.

Nice shot, I like that my focus is being pulled into the center of the photo, but there is nothing there to hold my focus. JMO!

A very good concept, it fails from being just that side of crisp and sharp. A little more time composing the image and getting the best shot from a focus standpoint would have been a plus. The linear shape of the car and the subtle curves of the ceiling are a plus. A very solid entry into the challenge, it suffers from an indistinct window view and slightly over done whites on the car's floor.

Looks like it was once very elegant in its day.
