I like the composition and focus is fine, but the image seems to have a color cast- too yellow on multiple monitors. You might want to look into calibrating your monitor- that was killing me on some of my earlier challenges.

Interesting shot. Too bad the black background wasn't totally black... Bottom right corner is distracting. I would have cleaned that out. However nicely done.

The image meets the subject matter dead on. A sound demonstration of the creative process in meeting the challenge in a very unusual way. A couple of minor detail problems but nothing worth detailing. The use of DOF is very effective. A good solid entry into the challenge.

Great control with the DOF, the splotches of color in the black surface are a little distracting.
