this is the other face of katee .. the one second from the right .. !!!
when we got her she was the most aggressive and unfriendly dog .. we decided to keep her despite the unpleasantness of her personality so that she'd have a good life .. wot convinced me was that i thought she would make a good photographic subject .. of course we were hoping that if we gave her a good home & much kindness and attention she would 'get better' .. love conquers all etc etc ..
well she's now a different dog to the one we brought home biting and snarling ..
but sometimes that scarey side rears its ugly head .. she jumped right into this shot, snapping and growling, and because i'm not into digital manipulation i had to leave her there coz i didnt have time to take another pic ..
and if you believe that you'd believe anything .. lol .. !!!:)

the real story is about a year ago or maybe two, i cant remember, katee started doing this thing that looks like she's catching flies .. like snapping the air ... we started to worry about her and took her to the vet, but she didnt do it when we were there .. he guessed that it could be behavioural, a sort'v fitting or a brain tumour ..
he said to bring a video of her doing it so he could make a better diagnosis ..
we did ..
he said from looking that it was probably behavioural ..
she does it when she's excited and playing or when she wants attention .. i spose its her way of talking ..
its pretty funny when you see it for the first time .. weird ..
anyhoooooo .. when she does it now, which is often, we say she's doing the brain tumour .. lol lol LOL .. !!..:)

anyhoooooo .. the katee, second from the right, is doing the brain tumour .. !!
i was standing on the bed taking these shots and katee was excited to be having her photograph taken .. !!

day 1, i was on the floor taking pics of her lying on the bed ..

Wow, look at the snarl! Great story! My grandmothers chihuahua does the same thing.

LOL! Hit post by accident. Anyway, I really love the processing. It looks like floor tiles!

Wonderful shot Roz. That behavior is just a doggy thing. My son's Scoobie, a " Jack Daniels Terriorizor" does pretty much the same thing when she is playing. It's sort of a ninja dog attitude for a minute, but it does not seem to amount to much more than show.

Ok, while we are sharing doggie stories. Chester deceided he give photography a try last week. I morning about 2:am I heard a thumbing noise coming from the other room. I thought He and Oscar (cat) were playing again as they often do. When I did get up the next morning I found my camera bag ripped open and camera, lens, filters, etc... flung from one end of the hall to the other. I suppose that I looked, a Little like katee second from right in above picture. No, Chester was not hurt as a result of his actions, but maintained a safe distance for three or four days. Pets!..... got to love them.

OK OK .... how'd you do that then? I understand the multi capture bit ( hehehe ) but how have you got her almost melting into the "stonework"...? LIquify?

BRILLIANT, Love it!

BTW - Gotta love that doggie......! I sooooo miss my doggie, he's living at home with my son in Western Australia, my wife and I are temporarily ( well 18 months ) living in Adelaide. This is gonna sound sad, but we talk via Skype-Video....!

"he said to bring a video of her doing it so he could make a better diagnosis ..
we did .. "

I reckon it was videos that caused the problem - looks like she watched 'Alien' once too often and started mimicking it . . .

:- )
