Interesting idea. I love the bottom half of the picture, but I think the top distracts from it. Maybe cropping it down a bit to place less emphasis on the top?

Telling your audience what your abstract is in an abstract challenge, probably wasn't the best idea. I would also suggest cleaning whatever surface you are using, as visible dust is going to kill a score every time.
