Translated the title simply says "Lion fish abstract." The combination of the Latin name and Italian for abstract, I hope, gives the shot an air of mystery, although it should not be hard to tell it's a fish. A photo taken on my recent visit to the Melbourne Aquarium. I wasn't going to enter this until I started playing with the colors and was a little surprised at the end result. I hope it does well, I like it.

Very pretty colors and definite impression of motion. Googling the title resulted in me learning about a previously unknown topic.

The color is washed out, but servicable in this context. Another image that could have used a slower shutter speed to keep the total motion effect, but resulting in more saturation which would have made it a ten.

Nice colours! I'd like to see this either flipped upside down or rotated clockwise.

And here I was thinking the lionfish couldn't get any more psychadelic...
Not sure how practical this would be, but I think fish would be the ideal creature for motion panning. They don't move to fast, so are easy to track, the rear of their body moves while the head stays more stationary... so you'd have this oddball head thing melting into the panned background. Just a thought.
