It's a very beautiful photograph, and yet if it were already the butterfly I probably wouldn't give it a second glance. I suppose it's because it seems so harmonious this way; the caterpillar and the tree bark seem more comfortable with each other, while the adult butterfly would dominate the scene. 7.
