I wonder how it would be to crop out the railing and cars at the bottom so you are just looking at the trees, clouds and sky. I really like the look of this. |

Heh - before I read your notes, I was about to type "I like the graininess of this". Same wavelength, apparently! |

Gorgeous, it seems to pop out of the clouds! It would also make a great background for a fantasy type image (the top of the tower and the clouds). |

This is wonderful. I love the classic monument shooting up over the trees. The duotone gives it an aged, classic feel. I like the perspective and tonal variations. |

30 lashings for even suggesting that this is boring. I like the infrared/black and white. I think it lends itself to the uniqueness of this shot. Unique because you've included the foreground, black and white (everyone goes for the color surrounding this memorial), and the clouds just perfectly place ... WOW. |

No, not boring at all. It's a picture with plenty to interest and that monument towering up past the trees, past those fabulous clouds and into the sky is terrific. |

Ilike the way you made the monumont disappear behind the trees. It seem to be suspended in air. |

Great pov with the stone wall and trees. The monument piercing the dark IR sky must be exactly the way the designer visualized it when it was being built. it's a lot better shot than you give credit for it being. |

You know that this isn't just another boring Washington Monument pic. You have taken the viewer outside of the normal box with this. The foreground is awesome and it gives an entirely differently feel to this monument than the normal take on it. Pretty damn amazing if you ask me. |
