Shot with a suction clamp on the bonnet and a cheap remote release :) Driving at about 20mph was plenty to get some nice motion blur! Had ND8 filter and polariser on the lens to be able to shoot for 1s in the bright sunshine!

Opened in RAW, upped exposure, blacks, clarity, sharpness, vibrancy. In CS3 slight crop to remove vignette, curves, levels, Gradient layer @ 8% softlight to just bring down the highlights in the sky. Flatten, clone a couple of spots of dust, resize, save!

4th place is cool :)
I used a suction clamp to mount the camera to the front of the car

and had the wide angle lens @ 12mm using a cheap wireless remote from the car to fire the camera :D

This is awesome. Looks way way way faster than 20mph. I don't think I'd have the faith in a suction cup mount. Cool thing about that scavenger hunt thread is revisiting great photos.

This is such a cool image...I have no idea how you would trust an EOS 40D to a suction clamp...I have a Tom Tom Navigator and the suction cup drops every hour...very brave. Well done
