I love the posing of the bird, he looks great. Things I would change: Tweaking the color levels a bit to make the grass and such a little more vibrant, and I would have liked to have seen an actual title.

I like the contrast of white against golden. And I like that you caught one foot in mid stride. Makes the picture more active and interesting.
