 A Maeko (apprentice Geisha) hidden in Kyoto. Since they are very difficult to catch, I took this picture from (very) far away with a pocket camera. It's a bit like with squirrels or birds, you have to be lucky... :p

Your control of the bright values is excellent, your control of the BG tonalities is superb. The image is appealing, but in the end, for me, somewhat too static to move me. I have it at 7. Nicely done!

While I am, by no means, a stickler for the 'rules' of photography, I would recommend not chopping off body parts at or near their joints. I'd like to see this one with either a tighter or looser crop that either included her wrist and hand or was tighter toward the waist line. I'd also like to see some better lighting on her face.
