Stunner of a bird and nice composition. Bummer that the sky was so flat behind him.

I think this lacks a clarity that would really make it stand out, or perhaps the frame on the right is too close? I can't put my finger on it.

Very nice close up of this raptor.

The white balance seems off on this. It appears it is the end of the day so would expect the warm hues, it looks a little too warm.

really nice colors....just a little dark...curves

Good capture with nice warm colors.

Such a clean, sharp photo. Certainly deserves to be a gem in your collection.

haha, at first glance it looks like the hawk left a big pile of droppings on the plant. Aside from that, the color of the sky and the almost brownish tone in the plant are not too appealing and the center composition doesn't really help either.

Good DOF, I like the colors but the whole image feels rather dark.

Nice clarity and exposure.

Wow good timing. I can imagine how long you had to wait to capture this.

That's pretty cool. Was this at sunset? It has a reddish glow to it.

Nice shot. I think the focus could have been a little sharper and unfortunately the grey background detracts a bit.

The white balance seems a bit off and overall this is just a "bird sitting on a plant"
Post actions
good detail and crispness of the bird

That balance is nice and color is nice.

Increasing the brightness in the sky might improve this photo

Nice capture of this hawk. The colours seem a little off to me, but that may just be my monitor.

pretty bird, might have worked with crop a bit. nice warm lighting

Beautiful bird. Seems to have a bit too much of an orange hue over the whole shot. Nice capture though.

focus seems a bit off to me

The color seems off.. too red.. the greens on the plant should be greener.. nice composition

Nice eye contact, looks like you're his next meal.

Nice detail and good tones. The sky is drab but the rest is nice.

This looks a little underexposed, almost... I wonder how some more light and a little more contrast might make this look?

IMO the focus seems just a little soft, not bad though. Neat find w/ him posing like that for you! Best of luck!
