 Ok - so I'm in My Way but that means I get to do what I want, right? Well all those great images in Expert had me thinking... Could I do something like that? I don,t think it comes close to what "The Masters" out here are doing but it was fun and soooo radically different than what I normally do.

This is really a snow bank on the side of the road. I processed it in Lightroom, using a moonlit preset. Then in PS, I dodged & burned parts of it, then added the weird, spacey layer. I masked some of it so the shape of the "planet" would show through.

Here is the original, straight from the camera:

The overlay came from pink sherbet on Flickr.

How cool, overlay looks like snow to me - I can feel the flakes smacking me in the face.

The original is gorgeous, I love the light and shadow. What you've done with it is so fun and creative, Caroline! I love that rosy sky, the flecks give the sense of snowflakes.

i love wot you've done with this caroline .. the colours are gorgeous .. brilliant turning a snow bank on the side of the road into such a fantastic alien looking scene .. :)

Both shot shots make want to move back to the Rockies, these Ozarks sre just hills. Great mountain shots here. Overlay works extremely well.
