displayed a photo of myself on my laptop screen and reflected it on my pupil ... this turned out to be harder than i initially anticipated ... main problem: lcd screens are not that bright, so for the reflection to show up at all, it has to be rather dark ... bad combination with the small aperture to get the reflection in focus.
post-processing: neatimage; lightened the white of the eyeball, the reflection and the green of the iris; cloned out hot pixels and some unwanted reflections on the eye; converted to sepia (except the iris); cropped; resized

Note to Gracious: the pupil is in focus. It is probably practically if not theoretically impossible to get the entire iris in focus and have the reflection in focus, at least under the lighting and aperature conditions required to make the shot.

I might have cropped the image to just the iris. It took me a minute to find the reflected portrait (the title helped).

10 for cleverness. 10 for execution of a difficult shot.

feels like the eye color is fake... seems blurry or something while the rest is in focus. Good besides that.

Is that a face reflected? That could be clearer, not that I've ever done it though. However the iris is amazing! Fantastic pattern, though also a little too soft focus. That's where the focus should be crisp, in the pupil and the iris. I like how you used the colour selection.

Didn't I see your eye in the Hulk movie? Nicely Done - 8.

There's a sense of liquidity in the flesh around the eye that is both rather distracting and rather unpleasantly death-like, especially in the desaturated colour. I find it unappealing, I'm afraid. Doesn't say anything to me. 3
