I hope you get a ribbon for this, it is a great shot. Only problem is the harsh shadow on the upper portion of the stomach.

If you can track down something called "spirit gum", its an adhesive used for stage makeup, it would make taking a shot like that a lot less delicate. Also fake eyelash glue that you can get at any grocery store works.

I like the lighting very much, the DOF is a little shallow for me though. 7

The idea is original! It's centered but the agle and f-stop you chose made the focus hard to handle.

Now that's a new take on the typical flower shot! :) Seems that the colors are somewhat muted. I really like it. Nice job!

I like the idea. I think a different lighting scheme would look better. Maybe from above. Kudos to the model for being patient.

great idea. this should do well. I love shallow DOF, but i might have gone a little deeper so all the petals were in focus. then the jeans might be in focus...not sure. love the idea anyway. good luck. P

cool idea. don't like the shadow in the right lower region.

Clever idea. It works better than most of the assymetrical entries in this contest. The blurred black line of the shirt is a little distracting.

I really liked this photo, unlike a alot of the entries it actually works with the theme. Hoewever, I find that the depth of field is too narrow.

this would have been better with more light and maybe taking the shot from looking down on the subject, I like the idea though

Very creative, great depth of field control and placement of focus. Really like this photo.
