 I had this idea about 4 months ago and it seemed to fit this challenge well. 'Lonely Hearts' ads are essentially people's own presentations of themselves - self portraits.

I think it will require voters to think about the content and will therefore do badly. It's not 'eye candy' and is definitely one to make me happy rather than chase votes.

Thanks for the higher-than-expected scores and all the great comments. I'm very surprised a comedy entry did so well and it has given me a reason to enter more comedy in the future.

It was a shame that the 150kb and 640px limit hurt the image so much; the printed element in particular uses a lot of data so I lost a lot of the detail in getting a file small enough.

good idea and good copy. the blue pencil and dark shadow of the phone take the focus away from the main subject
