This is a clone of a geranium plant growing in a rectangular glass vase. Natural light from the window behind the vase.

Shot in RAW: created two conversions using the Cold Tone and Cyanotype presets in Lightroom

I was one of your 7s - apparently this didn't appeal to the masses, though. I do think it's a bit monitor dependent - lovely rich and detailed on my home monitor but somewhat washed out and lacking detail on the cheapie at work. That may have hurt the score a bit. I think it's quite lovely.

This is very compelling. Literally it's a root system I think; certainly some part of a plant. But it suggests something else entirely. It promises, it hints, but it is ultimately just slightly out of reach. Birth is a good start, but not the whole story.
